Angelica Harris was born in New York City into a diverse European family. With her love of writing ignited in high school, she majored in liberal arts and theatre at Hunter College. Harris interned at the Roundabout Theatre on Broadway in New York City and acted in community theatre, followed by a stint on the sci- soap Dark Shadows. Her passion for medieval history led her to write The Quest for Excalibur and Excalibur and the Holy Grail. In 2004, Angelica partnered with Corey Blake (Chairman of the Dream for Writers of the Round Table Inc., and Writers of the Round Table Press) to develop her third book, Excalibur Reclaims Her King, which is being adapted into a screenplay. Harris and Blake spoke about their work at the Virginia Reading Conference in 2006. In this book, Harris invented a Pagan language using the Druid language she studied from Celtic mythology to create the linguistics of the speech. She promises this book will be an adventure to her readers—both historically and magically! In addition to novels and dozens of articles and short stories, Angelica was commissioned in 2005 by the Titanic Museum in Florida and Nova Scotia to develop a historical piece for display in the museums. She is the Project Manager of the “Hall of Imagination,” a reading and fantasy room in a children’s store called “Frankie’s Playce” in Queens. Website: www.AngelicaHarris.com
