This perspective’s rippled effect on our society causes those with mental illness left untreated or even discriminated against once the truth is revealed. Is fear of the unknown once again our enemy? Is your child really “bad” or is mental illness the issue. Will you as a parent be able to set aside your ego and pride to seek out help?
