May is Mental Health Awareness Month!

“Issue” sat down with Priscilla Jones-Mercer, MSW, LCSW-C, SAP, CEO and President of
P. J. Mercer & Associates, LLC, for the purpose of opening the conversation “Mental Health
in the Black Community". Be sure and listen to the podcast!

We are making progress in addressing and overcoming a long standing taboo in the Black community. What is this long standing taboo? Seeking professional help in order to deal with our Mental Health; an issue we can no longer ignore, hoping and praying our depression, anxiety and many other Mental Health issues will just somehow go away.
