Robert Bauval was born in Alexandria Egypt and later travelled to England to pursue his education in Building Construction and Management at the University of the South Bank in London. In 1989, Bauval published a study which argued that the layout of the three Giza Pyramids and their relative position to the Nile was intended to replicate the layout of the three stars in Orion’s belt and their relative position to the Milky Way. The thesis is known as the Orion Correlation Theory and is the subject of Bauval’s first book: The Orion Mystery, which has been translated into more than twenty languages and has been highlighted on the BBC, ABC, the Discovery Channel, and others. Bauval later co-authored the Message of the Sphinx with Graham Hancock, and he then followed the latter publication with Secret Chamber, Tailsman (also with Graham Hancock), and The Egypt Code. Bauval is presently working on a new book entitled Sirius Rising, which will trace the influence of the Egyptian Star-Goddess Sopdet (Sirius) from prehistoric times to the early Christian Era and which will focus on Her role in the rebirth cult and temple rituals and alignments. Bauval resides in Cairo near the Giza pyramids with his wife Michelle. Tonight, Robert Bauval will be joining us to discuss The Egypt Code: a book which examines the ground/sky correlation of Egyptian landmarks and examines the possibility of a grand plan spanning 3,000 years of pharaonic civilization involving pyramids and major temple sites along the Nile.

Anita Yasuda is the author of a number of works including Coastal Ghosts of Southern California and Haunted Monterey Peninsula. When Anita was younger she lived in rural Ontario and spent her summers along Lake Muskoka. She was active with swimming, Girl Scouts, and camping. She recalls spending a lot of time reading and recalls reading “every travel book there was in the local library.” She later decided to see as much as she could and has since lived in Switzerland, Japn, and Vancouver before she returned to her home. She attended Victoria College at The University of Toronto, and studied the art and literature of East and South Asia. On August 17, 2008, Patricia Gardner and Dayna Winters will be interviewing Zsuzsanna Budapest on ISIS Paranormal Radio! Zsuzsanna “Z” Emese Budapest, otherwise known as “Z,” is one of the most colorful women living in the United States today. Born in Hungary, only a few blocks from the studios that produced the Hungarian films, Z was influenced by the Entertainment Industry at a young age. Z fled Hungary in 1956 because of the Revolution, and thus began her adventures in the world. She studied in Innsbruck and Vienna, and earned herself an International Scholarship with the University of Chicago. Later she studied with the Second City Improvisational Theater where she studied the art of improvisation.
Z’s first job in television entertainment was as the Color Girl for the CBS Network in New York. She was assigned the Ed Sullivan Show, and it was her face that CBS adjusted their camera’s settings to. Later, Z moved to California where she opened up a candle and book store in Venice, California. There she brought forward her Hungarian heritage and traditions, which included reading tarot cards. In 1974, she was arrested for fortune telling as a result of reading tarot cards, and that led to her being the last person to be tried for witchcraft in the United States. Ultimately, those outdated laws were over-turned as a result of her fortitude. Z found herself immersed within the feminist culture with the likes of such notable women as her friend Gloria Steinem.
She grew as a feminist during the time of her legal battles with reading tarot. It was these two powerful influences that inspired Z to author ten internationally published books on the topics of Women’s Spirituality. Ultimately, Z is accredited with the founding and propagation of the Women’s Spirituality Movement, which continues to thrive to this day. Z has led rituals, lectured, taught classes, given workshops, written articles tirelessly, and published in hundreds of women's newspapers across the country. She has powerfully influenced many of the future teachers and writers about the Goddess. Z has authored numerous books including the Holy Book of Women's Mysteries, Grandmother of Time, Summoning the Fates, Goddess in the Office, Goddess in the Bedroom, Grandmother Moon, and Celestial Wisdom.
In the eighties, Z created a TV show called 13th Heaven and it ran on syndicated cable to thirteen channels in the San Francisco Bay Area for seven years. She acts as the director of the Women's Spirituality Forum, a nonprofit organization sponsoring a monthly lecture series in the Bay Area about the Goddess, spirituality retreats, and annual spiral dances on Halloween. Z founded and sponsors the Dianic University. California Institute for Integral Studies recognized recently Z's contribution to Women's Spirituality Movement. Today Z focuses her attentions on the development of her latest TV project called Femina Nation, which focuses on notable women in a unique and uplifting way.

At an early age, I became extremely interested in the paranormal. I am an avid bibliophile, and I appreciate fiction and non-fiction works of all kinds. I am a huge fan of Stephen King, Dean Koontz, John Saul, Scott Cunningham, and Doreen Valiente, among many other fantastic writers. Anything considered paranormal fascinates me, and I continue to absorb myself with studies related to the paranormal field. My hopes create an interesting paradox for I hope that which is unexplainable is finally understood one day, but I also know that with understanding also comes the loss of the mysterious; what once had intrigued many people will become normal and commonplace.
In my spare time (which is very little), I like to read, write, and draw. I also like to headstone hunt with my husband Mark. Currently, I am a writer and I have both my A.A. and my B.A., having majored in English. Eventually, I plan to pursue my M.A and PhD. I am a Wiccan priestess in the Dragon Warriors of Isis, eclectic coven and the mother of five who loves both Wicca and the paranormal. I have had previous publications appear in Blood Moon Rising Magazine (Sapphire Publications, 2000 & 2001), Crescent Magazine (2003 & 2004), Threads Magazine (2002-2004), Russell Sage Review (2005-2006), and the Journal for the Academic Study of Magic: Issue 5 (2009), published by Oxford at Mandrake.
I first became interested in the paranormal over thirty years ago. I was around fourteen years old when I had my first spirit encounter. Since that time, my experiences have led me to a broader study of the occult and the paranormal. I was drawn to the Goddess path at the age of eight, and have remained on the path ever since. I am Wiccan; I am the High Priestess of the Dragon Warriors of Isis,an eclectic coven, I have maintained an interest in demonology, and I have made it my life’s work to figure out what is on the other side, the causes of paranormal activity, and how to assist people that experience activity. I firmly believe there are hauntings that can be classified as inhuman, and that people suffer terribly when such activity is encountered.
I will openly admit that I do not know everything about the paranormal and suggest that if anyone ever meets up with a person that claims to have all the answers, to steer clear of that individual. The paranormal is “beyond normal,” and while I strive to understand it, how it happens, why it happens, and attempt to implement solutions, there are many things that remain unresolved and not clearly understood. My partner and I started a ghost research group so that we could learn what we can, while simultaneously sharing what we have learned with others. We look forward to assisting people, to helping them understand paranormal events, in as much as it is possible to understand their unique experiences.
