T. Lee Baumann of Birmingham is an author, lecturer and doctor in internal medicine and geriatrics. His first book, God at the Speed of Light, helped to inspire the CBS TV series "Joan of Arcadia." Baumann has also appeared in two Grizzly Adams television documentaries on the afterlife and, recently, an Alabama Public TV documentary on the near-death experience. In his new book, Matter to Mind to Consciousness, Baumann, a doctor in internal medicine and an expert on quantum spirituality, first educates readers on the functions of the brain and neuroanatomy. He then shares his findings with brain radio waves in the E.L.F. (extremely low frequency) range that could possibly explain everything from mental telepathy, conscious thought, dreams, déjà vu, instinct, mental illness and near-death experiences. "He also explains the latest medical technologies and how medical advances reveal that our infinitesimally weak brainwave activity travels into space and survives traversing the globe, many times over before dying out." Baumann asserts that the brainwave activity of all humankind - even God and dead spirits - is accessible to everyone."
