While this season is meant to bring feelings of love and cheer, it’s also the harbinger of holiday stress for many. In fact, according to a poll more than 80% of us find the holiday season to be ‘somewhat’ or ‘very’ stressful -- that ranks navigating the holidays right up there with asking for a raise!
From doing to much, to expecting too much, to eating, drinking and spending too much, to too much togetherness to not enough togetherness -- the holidays can be tremendously stressful. And let's not forget Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) that the shortest days of the year can bring on our health and sense of wellbeing and the Depression that the holiday can trigger.
