Catherine McElhany, Manager of Planning & Performance, Gulf Coast Restoration, BP talks about some of the ways of implementing Process Excellence into the business model. She discusses how BP is working to retain and maintain the corporate commitment to performance management and explains that the company is moving beyond the production excellence methodologies to realise the cultural, technical and business gains of production excellence. She also talks about how BP is addressing the challenges to sustain Lean, including how to re-energise and guarantee sustainable performance improvements and how it is successfully modelling system wide-risk management, scenario planning processes and asset integrity using continuous improvement concepts. At the Energy Process Excellence Network, Catherine will be presenting on our panel on End-to End process discipline strategies to minimise risk across your supply chain. She gives five top tips on overcoming the challenges of executing Lean Six Sigma in complex supply chain environments. The Energy Process Excellence Network Conference will take place from December 7th to 8th in Houston, Texas.
