With a bigger demand and pressure on healthcare providers, no doubt innovation and advancement in informatics and infrastructure are imminent. This is the only event which will deliver the “blue-ocean” healthcare concepts and management innovations to advance patient safety, healthcare benefits as well as guarantee ROI and efficiencies across clinical and administrative departments of healthcare providers in the Asia Pacific region. Dr Jeffrey Soar is the Director of the Collaboration for Ageing & Aged-care Informatics(CAAIR) at the University of Southern Queensland, the Convenor of the Queensland Smart Home Initiative (QSHI), the Director of the Smart Ageing & Independent Living Foundation (SAIL), and Secretary of Aged Care Informatics Australia. Prof Soar had a career over more than 20 years as a senior executive in departments of health in Australia and New Zealand. He managed state-wide and national ICT projects across hospitals and other health and care services. Prof Soar has developed government strategy and national standards for informatics in ageing and aged care. He has published over 100 reviewed papers and presented over 20 keynote addresses at major international events. He works with developing nations on strategies for information management and technology.
