Look in the mirror and I bet you're probably like me. You wake up and
I'll be damned if from the moment you open your eyes, it's ON!! Your
day starts with you going from 0 to 60 miles an hour. It's JUST that
crucial!! Your phone starts to ring. You got appointments to make.
You literally move NON STOP from sun up to sun down. And we're not
talking busy work. You're moving from the phone, to the car, to the
office, to the internet, to a meeting, back to the phone, back to the
car, well, you get the picture!For whatever reason, you are
CONSTANTLY on the go and you are doing everything to keep your life and
your career advancing. And we're not talking about sitting in a
cubicle for 8 hours reading gossip columns. You reading e-mails.
You're reviewing attachments. You're juggling how you're going to get
a sitter for your kids so you can make a professional mixer so you can
be seen. You're planning on going to two or three try outs and then to
a night spot to interact with the movers and shakers. Face it! You're moving 100 mph and people see blow by them like DUST in the wind. But here's a curious question: Are you really getting anywhere? Is the train moving??The
toughest thing about busting your ass and making things happen is that
you spend so much time in the process of trying to MAKE things happen
that you sometimes can't tell if you're actually moving. Now, for
those who are watching, it looks like you are RUNNING things. You are
"Making it do what it do, baby!" but when you know that you aspire for
something so much more and you aren't seeing it's full maturation as of
yet, sometimes, it gets frustrating.It's almost like you're
putting coal in a furnace of a ship. You're down below busting your
backside to keep coal in the fire but the only way you know if the ship
is moving is if someone tells you. Well, don't stay too long
down below. We all know the phrases about how hard work and sacrifice
will pay off but always remember to take a moment to come up to the
surface and breathe air. Even you should be able to enjoy the momentum
