David Diamond answers your questions about how to have the career you want and the life you want working as an artist.

Our guest this week will be Mark Russell, the Director of the Public Theater’s Under the Radar Festival.  The festival is preparing for its 10th edition in January 2014.  From 1983-2004 Russell was the Artistic/Executive Director of Performance Space 122 in the East Village of NYC.  From 2006-2008 Russell was the guest artistic director for the Portland Institute for Contemporary Arts – Tiime Based Art Festival.  He has been instrumental in setting up performance programs at the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, The Apollo Theater in Harlem, and the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, California.

Mark is on the cutting edge of new and innovative performance internationally. He will share his knowledge and give insights about how best to submit your production to different festivals. Learn about what the latest trends are in performance around the world and ASK any questions you have to both Mark and David.
