A show that explores psychology and mental health issues that tend to get swept under the carpet. "Nothing is off the table or taboo."

Airs Mondays at 8 PM and Saturdays at 9 PM ET on WQ4D Internet Radio.

Your Host: John Aberle
Tonight's Topic: The Catholic Church and the Holocaust
What could have possibly motivated ordinary Germans and their helpers throughout Nazi-occupied Europe to hate Jews so much as to murder over 6 million of them? What did the Catholic church know about the holocaust and why didn't it help?
John Aberle interviews Gabriel Wilensky, Holocaust researcher and author of the book Six Million Crucifixions to tackle these sensitive questions and more. The author's main thesis is that there were many teachings (mostly cultural, not biblical) passed down by the Catholic Church from the Middle Ages that created a sense of animosity and contempt among European Catholics for the Jewish people, blaming them for the ills of the world, and paving the way for ordinary citizens in Hitler's Germany to willingly execute Jews with the tacit consent of their church leaders.
