My people we must continue to stand as one. For as you all know it is together that we are most powerful. It was together that our people fought, went to jail, and even died for our sake. So it is now more than ever that we must stand taller than ever, and keep the fight that they started alive." "

The After Show #4 :: Marc Lacy

Today's show was so much fun, time just flew by!  My special guest was Marc Lacy a very gifted poet and author.  To learn more about Mr. Lacy visit, www.marclacy.com.

Because time just flew I did not have an opportunity to present my motivational message Let It Go!, but promised listeners I would post it here.  So here it is, and I hope that it helps.

    Until next time,
    Stay Inspired & Empowered!

    Let It Go!

I’m going to keep it real, we have all at one point and time in our lives, have held on to something, may it be emotions, ill feelings, something materialistic, junk that we no longer have any use for, or even relationships that we know good and well we needed to let go of.

Well I’m here to tell you that today……IT’S TIME TO LET IT ALL GO!

Holding on to that which you no longer need or doing you any benefit needs to be released from your life.  I know you maybe saying easier said than done, because as humans it’s easier for us to hold on than it is to let go.  We hold on because of our familiarity with the person, situation or thing.  But if you take the time to really think about the energy you are wasting holding on to whatever it is that you’re holding on to that is NOT, and I repeat, NOT doing you any good, and how that energy can be used to better your life instead, it’s a wake up call.  Because then you’ll begin to see how free flowing your life becomes once you learn to release the clutter you hold on to.   Just like your bathroom or kitchen sink, if it becomes clogged with all that gook it overflows.  So just like our lives become stopped up with the ill feelings, junk we hold on to, or what have you, things begin to overflow, those thins are better known issues.  Issues that derive from that which we choose to hold on to.  It’s true.  Believe it or not, holding on to something or someone you need to release will bock your blessings.

I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve had to learn the process of letting go.  It wasn’t an over night process for me.  I’ve had to diligently work at it and as I became older and wiser, it just became easier for me to say, you know what, it’s not worth my time or energy.  I’m at a time in my life where I’m so focused, that I have to take inventory from time to time of what I’m holding on to may it be internal, external, conscious or subconscious so I can keep a free flowing path.  Because I guarantee you, just like that bathroom or kitchen sink that gets clogged up with all that mess, issues will arise that will soak up energy that could have been better utilized.

Letting go is not easy, but it is necessary in order to move forward and experience the blessings that await you.

So if you are holding on to something you know good and well you need to release; Simply Let It Go.  It’s not hard, just make the decision that you are not going to hold on to anything that is no longer any use in your life.  I guarantee if you do you will see brighter days, you will feel your spirit lift, and you will move forward in life without any regrets.
