    Apology for the Pastoral School Of Ministry Cancellation; Revamping Program for October 16

    Anyone who was expecting to participate in the Pastoral School of Ministry deserves my sincere apology and a major explanation from me:  I received a major phone from the state of Washington regarding a young "Christian" woman who is studying with Jehovah's Witnesses and wanting to know more about the Scriptural look at prayer, fasting, and a number of subjects she needed answers for.

    I did not want to miss an opportunity for one to understand what she is not going to be told, and to give a healthy perspective from a Scriptural worldview.

    However, next month, we will meet on Sunday, November 8, 2009 at 5:00 PM for the Pastoral Meeting.  All Messianic Pastors and Rabbis are encouraged to join in the discussion.  If you are not able to be with us in Syracuse, you can take part by dialing the Insight on The Word Listeners Line.

    Mary and I had plans on doing a demonstration on how to present the true Good News to Jehovah's Witnesses at our door October 16, 2009 but, as I was preparing to teach on Acts chapter 15, another matter was raised:  Jehovah's Witnesses are not aware of the anti-Semitism stance presented in their publications so I will share with Witnesses the facts from The Declaration of Facts by Judge Joseph Franklin Rutherford (second president of the Watchtower Society), the misleading statements made in the 1974 Yearbook of Jehovah's Witnesses, and the August 22, 1995 Awake magazine regarding the 50th Anniversary of the Holocaust.

    So, I like to present the facts the Watchtower Society would like to forget about, and for Jehovah's Witnesses to be left in the dark on October 16, 2009. 

    Our brothers and sisters in the Messianic community are encouraged to participate.
