    Kevin Arkadie's Bio

    Writer-director-producer Kevin Arkadie began his his television career on the criticallyacclaimed series, "I'll Fly Away." Kevin's first script for the series,"Coming Home," was nominated for a WGA Writer's Award and the HumanitasPrize. Two seasons later, Kevin created "New York Undercover" with DickWolf, serving as Producer. Next, Kevin wrote the historical drama, "TheVernon Johns Story," starring James Earl Jones. $0$0$0$0He has written andproduced for Steven Spielberg's "High Incident" cop drama on ABC,co-authored the Emmy-winning mini-series, "The Temptations," executiveproduced "Rescue 77" for Aaron Spelling and "Soul Food: The Series" forShowtime and Paramount TV. Kevin then co-executive produced "TheShield" for FX TV. As Head Writer, Kevin developed the children's show"Miracle's Boys," a limited series for the Noggin/The N network, aboutthree African-American boys, aged 13 to 19, living on their own inHarlem after the death of their parents. Kevin won the 2005 WritersGuild Award for Outstanding Children's Episodic or Special for his"Miracle's Boys" episode "New Charlie." During the strike-shortenedseason of 2007, Kevin wrote two movies for Lifetime Television, "MargotChapman," "Homeland Security" and "The Dream Doctor," both still indevelopment.
