Frequently, people who are suffering from a mental health disorder think that their only treatment option is medication. While medications can be effective for certain disorders, there are many individuals that do not want to medication due to the side effects. In other instances, medications may not work for the individual. There are other treatment options. Newer innovative treatments include Neurofeedback and TMS therapies. Dr. Patricia Fuzzi of Professional Behavioral Center of NJ www.professionalbehavioralcenter.com) is the ONLY practice in NJ that uses both. We'll discuss how Dr. Fuzzi is using these technologies and the success her patients are having with them. Neurofeedback is also called Neurotherapy and EEG Biofeedback. It is a type of treatment that trains the brain to function better. It works for many disorders, including: anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, etc. For more information regarding neurofeedback and to see a complete list of the disorders treated, please visit http://www.eeginfo.com/ TMS therapy (www.neuronetics.com) is a safe, non-invasive procedure in which magnetic pulses are used to treat the individual. When you are getting ready to undergo a new and emerging therapy, it is good to have the best available option at your disposal. The Professional Behavioral Center of NJ is committed to offering the best possible TMS experience for those who need it.
