Introductory episode of Innocent Irrelevant. Show discusses how actual innocence doesn't necessarily matter when accused of domestic violence. How police view an allegation or even non-violent actions, from an ex-spouse or intimate partner differently than an accusation of a crime by a stranger and how probable cause is the allegation itself without any substiantiation. The rights of the accused evaporate when it comes to any allegation of domestic abuse. As VAWA passes the Senate and heads to the House of Representatives we discuss how that law undermined the constitutional rights of accused and the effects on innocent people.
