Rosalind Cherry

My name is Rosalind Cherry I reside in Jersey City New Jersey my parents name were Mr. John Cherry and Mrs. Sallie Mae Cherry. Who lived in Columbia South Carolina. As a child I remember when my father would talk about the service he was in the Army. I was a Army Brat too. When he was with me, I would pretend I was on the stage to make up a poem. I will always remember how he smiled and would clap for me Priceless. My mother and my Grandmothers Rita Cherry and Annie Mae Goodwin was the back bones of the family it was all about the Church and prayers even at the table before you ate and before you slept you just prayed. I got baptized at the age of 10 years old at the New Hope Baptist Church in Jersey City New Jersey.
