    Shades of Blue going through Infinite Change and how It pertains to Spirituality and Sexuality

            Today, a painter said to me, "Many people like to label things. It's natural for the human mind to want
    to analyze things and define them, even when it has no idea what's going on." He referenced his works in particular, but I saw how this idea applied to everything in life.
               For as long as I can recall, I've had control issues. Being "open" and "free-spirited" is a way for me to take AND relinquish control at once. That is what I've decided to do with this weekly column. I will archive them on Facebook (since I currently don't use it for much else).
               What I write here will be on my blog space on my online radio show because my show will speak on whatever topic I introduce here after time for reflection. A new column will be up every Tuesday (by midnight) and Shades of Blue, the radio show, will air every Sunday from 11pm-1am.
              The blogs I write on myspace will be different (I oftentimes use video), though I will reference blogs that are posted there. Feel free to send me a question (all names are anonymous unless requested to be shown) regarding any topic at either site.
             
    My intent behind this column is to offer guidance and support to any and everybody. One of my "blisses" is helping others actualize their
    dreams. I don't mean doing THEIR dream FOR them- only WE can REAL-EYEZ our true potential. It's wonder full to have help along the Way though. It's one of the reasons I'm right here, right now .
             Since most of us human beings were born into this world through sexual and/or spiritual means AND many of us question BOTH of these areas of our lives, yet don't often discuss them amongst ourSelves, I have decided to make these two topics: Spirituality and Sexuality, the focal points of this column and my radio show.
               Spirituality and sexuality are the foundations of my artistic expressions as well. Oftentimes I've related to people how creating songs have been like birthing children for me (and writing my autobiography was like cloning myself). If it wasn't for my spiritual sense of purpose/fulfillment (they are one in the same for me), I (really)don't think I'd be on the path of "the professional artist".

               This week, the "topic" is
    "Letting It go and LETTING It flow."

               It's a challenge for many of us in western society to trust "the force"/chi /Life/Nature/God/theCreator/Our (Higher) Selves, especially consistently. It means exhibiting repeatedly acts of faith.
              One of the things that's helped me greatly lately in doing this is keeping in mind the following 5 principles of Reiki:

    Just for today:
    1. Do not worry.
    2. Do not anger.
    3. Be humble/grateful.
    4. Work hard/honestly.
    5. Be kind/considerate.

             I worry, get angry, am ungrateful, lazy and am a little mean sometimes. Remembering these principles helps me sink into the moment, doing the best I can with what I have.

    Letting It go and LETTING It flow...
