Who is Shamielle Alston?

As a published Author, our owner Shamielle Alston knows first hand the frustration of trying to promote ones books. Now with several books under her belt, she is a seasoned pro in the promotional industry. In an effort to assist authors and keep many from abandanoning their writing dream due to frustration, Write Turns Allowed was birthed. From Carrboro, North Carolina this Carolinian delved into the writing industry very early. From poetry contests in elementary school, to creative writing contests in high school, Shamielle Alston allowed her writing to flourish. More than an author, Shamielle is also a lyricist, poet and play write. She has written monologues for stage, curriculums for Christian Education Programs. Needles to say, our owner does not succumb to boundaries as a writer. Bringing her creativity as a writer to the table, our Owner provides wonderful ideas based on your book and personal needs as an author. She constantly networks to bring the best oppurtunities for our members to promote their books. Using experience gained through her efforts she also brings wonderful connections in the industry to the table.
