The world celebrated with William Becton & Friends with the 1995 smash album “Broken”. Not only did it debut on the Billboard Gospel chart at #3 and reign at #1 for over 11 weeks, it also made significant noise on the Billboard R&B singles chart sitting comfortably at #59 for 21 weeks. His subsequent album releases built on the musical legacy that through the years has garnered him two Stellar Awards, two Gospel Music Workshop of America Excellence Awards, several Dove Award nominations and the coveted WOW Gospel Sales Award. Becton firmly established himself as one of gospel music's finest writing and producing machines. And as he continues to build on the platform of his contribution to gospel music history, he builds ministry and lives life.
