King has been the house drummer for The Root's "Black Lily" (hosted by Black Thought) and has performed with renowned Los Angeles artists and groups such as KLYMAXX, Gina Rene, The Luminaries, Gina Loring while opening for acts such as KRS-ONE, Medusa and J*Davey.
