Director Herbert Midgley created  "The Rise of the Robots. Also known on YouTube as The Internet Legend, Midgley presents a motley crew of four unlikely members who fight to save the world from the rise of the robots. The takeover is possible through humankind's obsession with technology. Now only four misfits can fix the problem -- a stoner, redneck, "hottie" and intellectial. Can they stop the robots from taking over and avoid the Mayan prophecy? Or is there another part of the prophecy that might hint at what can save them all?

This is not Midgley's first film. He also directed and can be seen in "Beep" and has worked on other productions. In addition to being crew, he also is a composer and did music for "The History of Time Travel" (whose director, Ricky Kennedy, was featured on I.S. and was the A.D. on this project.) Perhaps Midgley is best known for his over 3000 videos on YouTube!

"The Rise of the Robots" was shown at the Super Geek Film Festival as part of Florida Supercon (July 3-6, 2014).
