In 2008, Rob Margolies won Best American Indie at the Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival with his dark comedy "Lifelines." Now he has returned with another comedy, "She Wants Me."

The plot follows a struggling overweight filmmaker, Sam, who tries to keep his struggling actress girlfriend, Sammy, happy. Unfortunately, she is tired of being broke and does what she can to make ends meet. They seem to be making it through against all odds until her ex-husband, John, who she was madly in love with,  re-enters the picture. A strapping specimen of a man with a booming career and the paycheck to match, John still pines over Sammy and gets in the middle of Sam and Sammy's relationship in a surprising way.

The film has a long list of well-known actors including Charlie Sheen (who also produces), Hilary Duff, Wayne Knight (Newman on Seinfeld), Debra Jo Rupp (That '70s Show) and others.
