INTERVIEW: Prod./ Dir. Rex Sikes ("Girls Gone Dead," "Serum"

Although more recently Rex Sikes has been known for his involvement as producer in the popular "Girls Gone Dead" horror film, he has had a long career in film. He might best be known as being an actor in "Massacre at Central High" in the 70s. But he also co-starred n "Horrid," which was just released to DVD. Some of his other features to come out are “The Spade County Massacre”, “Broken Orbit” and “Port of Call.  He recently portrayed killer Mark Libecki in “Unusual Suspects: Blood Trail for Discovery Channel airing this fall.

His current projects include producing the feature “Serial Daters Anonymous," as well as a cooking show and a TV pilot called “Woody’s World," which he terms the first live action/animated motion capture situation comedy ever.

Right now, he is directing a suspense thriller TV pilot “Serum.” He also hosts a show similar to Indie Streak called Movie Beat!
