Dear Indie Filmmaker Listeners, fans and community

Let me begin by apologizing for the long delay between broadcasts. In our endless journey of bringing the best in the Independent film world to you through Internet radio broadcasting, we’ve put together a formula that we believe will assist you in your en devours, as well as entertain and inform you on the process of filmmaking. It’s one simple phrase, “ Write it, Shoot it, Work it”.

Write it, Shoot it, Work it! In this day and age, when funding and financing is hard to come by, what do you do? Well, if you have a story and a camera that is the first step in being a filmmaker, and you’re only a filmmaker if you make films, right. That being said, without changing the original format too much, also Indie Filmmakers Talk being geared to the Independent film world, we’re not just having an open discussion of the process of filmmaking. Meaning, instead of reciting book information, and picking the brains of a bunch of statistic spewing walking magazine articles, we will be giving the step by step and play by play process of independent, no budget filmmaking based on the month by month projects our production team will be filming, as well as other filmmakers and digital media artists that are literally in the trenches to see their vision come to life. This new programming gives our Independent film community, not only the belief that it can be done, but it also gives the tools and tricks of the trade to compete visually, technically and professionally with films that have budgets big or small. I look forward to interacting with our new generation independent film community, sharing war stories and achievements.
