Q.Z. Tha Leader is an American Hip-Hop recording artist, songwriter and producer from Biloxi, Mississippi now residing in Portland, Oregon. A true renaissance artist of his generation whom takes pride in writing, producing, and arranging all of his own music. Q.Z. has opened for some of the greatest in hip-hop like Juvenile, Mystikal, and Choppa. He is best known for his 2013 viral internet hit Black Russian. The song and the accompanying video racked up over 37k views in little over a week. Having been signed to indie major labels in the past, Q.Z. prefers the freedom that the independent route provides. Releasing music to the people that support him is what Q.Z. values the most. In 2014, the southern producer and wordsmith released a collaborative EP titled Moments Of Genius Opus: Part 1 independently. The opus was Q.Z.'s 3rd solo effort. The EP was featured on over 90 blogs and spawned the viral hits Monte' Carlo and Blood Stained Chanel. Q.Z. dropped the follow up, Moments Of Genius Opus Part: 2 ten months later. The project received rave reviews led by the self produced track, Blame Me. Balloons In Tha Wind is Q.Z.’s latest offering in 2017. The gritty drum work quantifies the sonics from hip-hop’s golden age. This record is a nod to those crate digging, analog days. When music was meant to be felt, rather than heard.

    Dave Bremner (Folk/Inspirational)

    in Indie Music

Pop Art Painter Jamie Roxx (www.JamieRoxx.us) welcomes Scotland's Dave Bremner (Folk/Inspirational) to the Show!
Dave Bremner – Singer/songwriter from Scotland, has been around the music business for more years than he would want to admit.  Dave got into recording his “rock poems,” as he calls them, when his daughter Dawn bought him studio time for his 50th birthday gift. Dave’s own songs have been recorded either as solo projects or with a band of eclectic musicians called Luna Reklipse. This combo produced a superb album of rock arrangements of a number of Dave’s songs called “NEW BEGINNING.” However due to life getting in the way, that group is no longer together, and subsequent “band” set ups have failed to produce the right feel for Dave. This latest EP release (“Tigers and Dragons”) is a collection of some of Dave’s early songs, he often plays while performing live. He is often asked, “where can we down load these?” So, he thought it was about time these were back out there, so folks can get them.

  • Tears for inanna is Brazilian-born Kaliyani's powerful second release

    in Indie Music

Tears for inanna  is Brazilian-born Kaliyani's powerful second release. Her debut video, "Nammu's Invocation," garnered more than two million views on YouTube and is a collaboration with Hollywood composer/filmmaker Riz Story (writer, director and producer of A Winter Rose which features Kaliyani's first single).
Seamlessly weaving visions of sensuality into a primordial context, Tears for Inanna is a beautiful manifestation of a generally misunderstood archetypal myth. Inanna challenges us to review our belief systems, particularly with respect to our culture's view on sexuality and the role of the sacred feminine throughout history. Kaliyani radiates this sacred Inanna energy in the video, the enchantment of her powerful yet graceful vocalizations leading the way.
