Ajay wins hearts in Philly

Ajay Raju is the CEO and Chairman of Dilworth Paxson. He runs the Raju foundation along with his wife Pamela. The foundation’s principal enterprise is the Germination Project, a non-profit, catalytic incubator for Philadelphia’s next generation of business, political and civic leaders, drawn from Philadelphia’s high school students. The foundation also promotes Philadelphia’s creative community under the aegis of the IntXchange and is the founding publisher and patron of The Philadelphia Citizen, a non-profit, non­partisan media organization. On the civic front Ajay was appointed by Mayor Michael Nutter to the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Works, the region’s premier workforce development agency.

He is chairman of The Center PAC, a federal and state non-partisan political action committee supporting policies and candidates who champion entrepreneurship, economic growth, and sustainable prosperity throughout the region. He is a sought-after thought leader, appearing as a regular on Inside Story, a Sunday-morning news and roundtable debate show on ABC’s WPVI station serving the Greater Philadelphia market.
