The merge of Fostering Media Connections and these two amazing magazines with the editor Kim Hansel is an amazing pairing. Fostering Media Connections (FMC) is a 501 c (3) non-profit that harnesses the power of journalism to advance child welfare reform by covering emerging solutions to the system’s challenges. It publishes The Chronicle of Social Change, a national online publication that produces daily news about child welfare, juvenile justice and children’s mental health issues.

Kim Phagan-Hansel is the editor of Fostering Families Today and Adoption Today magazines (www.adoptinfo.net). She is also the editor of two books, The Kinship Parenting Toolbox and The Foster Parenting Toolbox. In 2014, Phagan-Hansel received an Angel in Adoption Award from the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute. She is also a wife and mother living in Wyoming.
