Umpqua Indian Foods is a natural foods company owned by the Cow Creek Band of the Oregon-based Umpqua Tribe.  They own and operate a natural foods company, Umpqua Indian Foods, which offers a line of natural foods with healthy features.  In addition, they produce a signature label line of foods (jellies, for example) using local berries and produce.

Their story is a great example of the power of self-sufficiency and a solution-focused approach to problems.

We'll be chatting with Tabbitha Johnson, Umpqua's Retail Office Manager and Cow Creek Band member, about her company's story, why they chose healthy foods as a business endeavor, and what they aspire to teach others with their business venture.
