It all makes sense when you read it in a book or hear it from a dietitian, but get in the grocery store and....AAAHHHHH!!! What to put in the cart and bring home?!?! Dietitian Danielle Omar has created a virtual grocery shopping tour she's going to tell us a little more about. Tune in to learn how you can participate! Danielle Omar, MS, RD, is a Fairfax, Virginia working mom who has to balance her professional pursuits with a busy home life. She has contributed to nutrition related news stories for local affiliates at CBS and ABC, as well as major entertainment outlets such as the The New York Times and the Food Network. Danielle is frequently asked to comment on health stories for The Washington Post and has been featured on Daily Candy. Danielle writes a food and nutrition blog called Food Confidence and serves as a member of the Social Media Advisory Board for America's Wellness Challenge, a campaign centered on the Council For Responsible Nutrition's three pillars of wellness: healthy diet, exercise, and appropriate supplementation.
