Starting in the 2012 school year, DC public schools will eliminate the position of Special Education Coordinator in schools and instead will transfer those job responsibilities to school psychologists.  The District of Columbia Association of School Psychologists representatives Kirsten Myers Denning, School Psycholgoist, and Monica Arce, Special Education Coordinator join us to discuss this proposed change and how it  may affect the education of children with disabilities in DC and their families.
