God's Original Intent

We apologize we did not properly introduce our two oldest children on our last broadcast. We were blessed and privileged to have Joy and Gimel with us. We made great strides in our studies last week as we shared from Genesis 1: 14- 26. The scripture states, the sun, moon and stars are given to us for signs, seasons, years and days. The sun is a prototype of Christ. He is the light that shines in darkness. As the moon is a reflection of the sun so the church is a reflection of Christ. The stars are seen as the leading ones or guides in the body of Christ. Concerning signs and seasons, anyone who is involved in agriculture knows that when it comes to planting and harvesting of crops it is all controlled by the ability to read and understand the signs of the moon to reap a flourishing, healthy crop. Verse 26 is the creation of man or mankind. We shared how everything was made or created in completion before the arrival of man. That is, every thing was prepared to receive man. Signifying, God was complete in creation and everything was made complete in God. II Peter 1:3 and 4 tells us that He has given us every thing that pertains to life and Godliness.
