Hope Chest Foundation, Inc., founded by Deborah “Debbie” Manser, owner of Cheers Horse Ranch, LLC. has for over 30 years dedicated herself to rescuing horses. With the love and support of many friends and family she has been blessed to be able to expand her vision, with the acquisition of property adjacent to her existing ranch, which will enable her to continue her quest to rescue and rehabilitate horses through the Hope Chest Foundation, Inc.. Our Mission Statement: We are dedicated to rescue horses with a healing partnership with children. Children and horses form beautiful “unconditional” bonds and together work to heal each other. The purpose of our program is to improve the quality of life for all horses and to save as many horses as we can. We are committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of horses suffering from abuse or neglect, or from horse owners that no longer can physically or financially care for their horse. We then try to find homes for those best suited to be with someone else. We also aim to imp rove the public awareness and knowledge of the standards of care necessary to take care of the horse both financially and physically through educating the public on proper care, responsible horse ownership and all related issued involving horses. We also offer hospice care to those horses who have owners that may not be able to emotionally or financially cope with the upcoming loss of their horse. We will give them the proper care until the day they need to “rest in peace”. “We can judge the heart of a man by his treatment of animals”. – Immanual Kant
