The Immigration Reform legislation will be examined. The following will be examined: a major root cause of illegal immigration into America are the poorly secured porous borders with Mexico. Though this area is "promised" to be resolved in the legislation within time, it lacks any specific definitive resolution to ensure the borders are made as secure as possible. This legislation also calls for an "E-Verify" system which is an online system National ID Data Base which would be used by employers to verify that a worker is eligible to work in the United States.  The existing bill, unless changed, would still require most employers to use the system within four years for ALL employers. In the Senate bill “E-Verify,” uses biometric identity information of job applicants against government databases which raises the biggest flag. Some feel a national identification database should be scrapped & pass immigration reform that secures the border, expands existing work-visa programs and prevents non citizens from access to welfare. These simple ideas will eliminate the perceived need for an invasive worker-verification system and a government "citizenship database” which could over time evolve into something much more evasive to all Americans (i.e.,an RFID biometric microchip implant).  Lastly we will discuss how the immigration reform act would over time impact Obamacare.& healthcare costs..
