Colonel Jim Hale, USAF (ret) is the SOS State Coordinator, Colorado. His military service consisted of 23 year fighter pilot, F-4 & F-15; Pentagon staff tour, F-15 Operational Test and Evaluation, Director USAFE Weapons & Tactics, USAF Executive Agent for TENCAP (Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities – space programs).  First operational tour to SEA, 104 missions to North Vietnam in F-4.  7 DFCs, 14 Air Medals.

Industry Background:  17 years defense industry in small, medium and large corporations.  Director for special programs, cyber-related capability development, strategy development, business development. 

Currently retired, teaching motorcycle courses for Motorcycle Safety Foundation and “personal assistant” to wife of 45 years.

Discussion items:  Larger scope and effects of security leaks on: foreign policy and options; allied cooperation; tactical development and employment options; technology applications in sensitive operations; survivability in high-threat/risk environments; senior military leadership caving to political pressure (CJCS specifically); role of legal community in reducing military capabilities; corrosive effect of political correctness on morale and military effectiveness.
