People talk about networking all the time. Networking is an important tool to building your business. It is one part of your marketing funnel to get clients. It allows you to be authentic and genuine as it increases your Visibility, Credibility and Profitability. For most of us, we tend to think of networking events. But have you every asked yourself what type of networking you like to do?
Your first thought might be “Isn’t it all the same? I network to meet people to help grow my business.” That’s what I thought for a long time. So it was no surprise that I wasn’t very good at it until I found a different way to think about it that made it easier. Want more success with networking? To do it well, you need to know the 3 different types of networks (Life, Personal, Professional) and the 3 different types of people (Positive people, Allies & Mentors) you need in each.
Have you done this? If you haven’t, it might explain why you haven’t developed your personal networking style. Once you under stand this, you can develop a system of networking that you like, can do over and over again and get faster results. What change are you willing to make need to reach your goals?
