Have you start noticing that the pounds aren’t falling off like they did even though you are putting in the effort? Now there are many reasons for a weight loss plateau, but the one that that can sabotage you the fastest is portion size creep. What causes  this? There are 3 changes that contribute to portion size creep: a) serving sizes are larger (so are plate & glasses) b) your eyeball measurements are not as accurate and c) not adjusting your daily caloric need as you lose weight.

To make matters worse, even if you are eating the right foods, studies have shown that people underestimate the calorie content in a meal by about 20 per cent. You could be off by 300 calories a day and not realize it. Lets fix this by incorporating some simple common sense accountability strategies. Then watch as you start losing again. Success could be just a spoonful around the corner!
