on Black Women's Health Report with Eleanor Hinton Hoytt

Medicaid is major provider of health coverage for uninsured Black families and a lifeline for those who have serious, acute health care needs. It provides access to basic health care services for women - pap smears, family planning, maternal care; long term care and benefits for low-income seniors and those who are disabled; and comprehensive benefits for children.

Medicaid for Black families is Imperative!

Join the Imperative on Wednesday, January 30, at 11 a.m. EST, as we discuss with board member and NHELP Attorney Debbie Reid and Writer Nadra Kareem Nittle how Medicaid and its expansion impacts Black familes and what you can do to help engage your state and federal leaders in supporting Medicaid expansion.
