Sexual abuse is not only an unwanted assault on the body but the mind and soul as well. Feelings of helplessness, guilt, depression, confusion and anger could travel with your child into adulthood - if entering into the healing process is delayed or skipped completely. Healing the scarred mind and soul takes time, perseverance, desire, hope, and help. Healing is difficult but necessary.

On Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at 2 p.m. EST, Psychologists Saundra Maas-Robinson, M.D., and Robyn Gobin will return for part 2 of "Protecting Your Children from Sexual Abuse," to discuss how to confront the abuser and how to help your child heal from sexual abuse.

This is a show that parents cannot afford to miss!

Call our guests with your questions and comments at 646-381-4662 or email them prior to the airing of our live show at asktheexpert@blackwomenshealth.org.
