In the wake of the global outcry following the IDF's deadly raid on a flotilla of aid ships headed to Gaza, Israel has announced it will "ease" the blockade of the besieged Gaza Strip. While the United States has praised the planed alterations of the restrictive blockade regime on the occupied Gaza Strip, many Palestinians, as well as governments and human rights organizations around the world insist that only a complete end to the siege will suffice.
