I'll take my time with you, even if you don't know how to ask me not to. I don't know of any of other way to relate to you. I don't know of any other way to reach out to you - listen to you - embrace you - marvel at you - empathize, sympathize and realize you - I believe that we often find exactly what we are searching for - I believe we embrace in others the very things we find rewarding within ourselves - I believe that we are more powerful than we would dare imagine to be true - yet - we are surrounded by a culture which seeks our smallness and reinforces our insignificance - it invites us to a state of loneliness and self injurious behavior - so to get in - to fit in - we often cloak our brilliance - tuck in our wings - diminish our posture - lower our expectations and succumb to our obliquity. **Note to self in affirming others**
