Plantation Life in America

Plantation life was not a good life in America for African American or as we were called at the time, slaves.  Plantation life was horrible! Plantation life stripped us of our human life. Plantation life reduced us to animal life. The white slave masters would not let us read. They told us G-d cursed us and made us dark or black. They said G-d did not give us human life, that we were three-forth of a human being. They said G-d did not give us intelligence, so it was not beneficial for us to read. They lied on G-d. If yo want to make a people slaves forever, you have got to start with their G-d and religion.
