16th Annual War on Christmas

Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays?  December 1st marks the official start to the 16th Annual War on Christmas and Matt and Jay will be identifying the soldiers and actors involved and breaking down all the liturgical and anti-liturgical carnage for you as only they can.

 

Will this be the year that giant menorahs, gaudy Christmas trees, and bare Festivus poles peacefully co-exist next to each other, or will it be yet another holiday season full of bitter, irrational verbal violence between Christian and Secularists?

 

Which side will the Jews and the Kwanzaanians come down upon during this battle between good and evil…between irrational fear and disbelief…between Christ and Santa Claus?

 

Will the 2012 Holiday Season be the one in which a worker at Staples says, “Happy Holidays” to Bill O’Reilly and Bill-O’s oversized head explodes!?

 

Does the fact that Gov. Lincoln Chafee (I-RI) calls the Rhode Island Statehouse tree a Holiday Tree show him to be exhibiting common sense, or does it show him to be a coward who hates the Holy Baby Jesus?

 

Which will upset you more this year…if a person says Happy Holidays to you, or if you don’t get that new iPhone you wanted?  Is it fair that Messianic Jews get to celebrate both Hanukkah AND Christmas?
