    Mary McManus, received a BS in Public Relations from Boston University in 1976. Mary’s career path took her from public relations to social work. She worked in public relations for the BU Counseling Center when the director recognized her compassion and empathy and a spirit for helping others and suggested she pursue a career in counseling. But throughout the years, she would enjoy writing - especially poetry, writing customized poems for family and friends in honor of special occasions. When Mary retired from 25 years in the field of social work she created New World Greeting Cards, customized poetry for all occasions. Through this gift Mary shares with others to bring hope, faith, love, joy, comfort, healing, and celebration.
