Adrianna Larkin credits her writing style to her parents who made it a point to fill the house with a wide range of music choices. At any given time the turntable might contain Country or Opera - perhaps followed by Israeli Folk Music. She learned that " What makes for a good song, isn’t so much style, as what stays with you to make you want to hear it again and again". To that end she adds: "Every song I write, must leave its mark on the listener. The true complexity comes in keeping it simple." Adrianna’s use of lyrical imagery creates an experience that is felt, as much as it is heard. Each song tells a story, and each story creates an imprint in the mind of the listener that will be remembered. She has carved a niche for herself in a style that is uniquely her own. Her ‘musical soup’ as she is so fond of calling it, contains of mix of flavors: everything from blues, to folk, to country to Latin, even flavorings from some of the Celtic ballads that her grandmother taught her. Adrianna has also written and produced theme songs for radio, television and film. Her newest and 4 th CD entitled Sacred Fire was released in November of 2008. www.adriannalarkin.com
