Of the five major stratovolcanoes in the Cascade Range in the state of Washington, Glacier Peak is the most isolated. Despite being the fourth-tallest mountain in WA, Glacier Peak is a relatively unknown mountain, especially when compared to the likes of Mount Rainier and Mount Baker.
