LISTEN TO THE CELEBRATION OF THANKS AT THE VA HOSPITAL IN FAYETTEVILLE, NC WHERE COMMUNITY GROUPS AND CORPORATE SPONSOR MJ SOFFE, LLC SHARE THEIR APPRECIATION TO THE VETERANS FOR THEIR SERVICE. The Saturday celebration was a colaboration of area community outreach organizations, local churches & ministries, Ft. Bragg representation, and associates from MJ Soffe The groups brought holiday cheer to the residents & staff at the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville. Shirley L. Robinson, wife of a disabled vet and CEO of Foundation Builders Family Institute led the program.VA Chaplain Samuel Smith gave the invocation, with local Vietnam Air Force veteran Jimmy Broglin leading the group in the pledge of Allegiance. Ann Rowan read the letter of appreciation sent to the Veterans from Governor Beverly Perdue, followed by a message by Chaplain (Major) Tony Petros from Ft. Bragg. The Master's III Gospel group sang a Christmas selection, followed by Army veteran and Pastor Deborah Stewart giving a message of thanks followed by Jim Soffe and Joe Cimaglia from MJ Soffe. Pastor Cynthia Dumas and the Victory Ministry praise team sang Christmas carols, and Retired Chaplain Dr. Randy Moore of Mt. Elam Baptist Church shared a message of thanks and prayer with the group. Daniel Kelly, Assistant Activites Director, did an exemplary job of introducing the group to each VA Hospital resident and providing details of their military service and enjoyable personal anecdotes. Michelle Jacobs from the MJ Soffe Company distributed a certificate of appreciation to each resident with a copy of Governor Beverly Perdue's letter. Each resident received a windsuit embroidered with with branch of service emblem and a Wounded Warrior cap, provided by the MJ Soffe Company. The residents were very appreciative of the gifts & certificates.
