Yet it is precisely the Childhood Onset type of CBD that is least understood by healthcare professionals such as physicians, dentists, and nurses. Thus the IFCD Educational Committee felt that our "IFCD BlogTalkRadio University Series on Disabilities Medicine" should begin with an overview of "Developmental Disabilities Medicine", which is defined as "The Evaluation and Management of those Health Conditions that are Frequently Encountered in Adults with Childhood Onset CBD".
