Jeff Richards is managing partner at The Office of the CIO, a professional services firm specializing in developing business strategy and aligning the supporting Information Technology and associated organizational changes to deliver the results. Recent clients include ACE Insurance, Agilent Technologies, Hewlett-Packard, Juniper Networks, Mitsubishi, Motorola, NetScreen, Pacific Ethanol, Palm, PGP, Rambus, Simons Petroleum, Sun Microsystems, Valeant Pharmaceuticals and Wipro. 

Jeff is also the Secretary - Board of Directors at The CIO Scholarship Foundation, a charity established to help under-privileged students pursue Information Technology and Engineering degrees. To date, over $350K has been ranted as endowments for scholarships at several participating colleges and universities..

Jeff is a past president and board member of the Society for Information Management, San Francisco Bay Area chapter; and a former partner at CSC, Ernst & Young,and Titus LLC. He holds a BS degree from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
