Craig Watkins is a teacher at the University of Texas at Austin focused on Radio-Television-Film and Sociology; and the Center for African and African American Studies. His latest book, "The Young and the Digital: What the Migration to Social Network Sites, Games, and Anytime, Anywhere Media Means for Our Future" is based on survey research, in-depth interviews, and fieldwork with teens, young twenty-somethings, teachers, parents, and technology advocates. He recently co-authored an article entitled "Got Facebook? Investigating What’s Social About Social Media." We'll be talking about young people’s current media behaviors and how that is impacting our lives on the Internet.
